Brevard County Florida – Brevard Physicians Network (BPN) and Sushoo Health Information Exchange have teamed up to clinically integrate Brevard County

BPN is an Independent Practice Association that represents nearly 300 providers in Brevard County. The organization mainly helps physicians credential and negotiate with insurance carriers.

Recently BPN has taken the initiative to help its physicians comply with recent government mandates set in place by Health Care Reform.

“Sushoo is needed to help BPN and its providers go paperless.” Said Meg Nickerson, “We will soon be able to transfer patient data securely over the internet between the IPA and its physicians.” Nickerson feels this could save her 10-20 hours per week when this process replaces faxing and the traditional use of the phone.

Sushoo is also a Brevard County company that has been working in Healthcare IT for over ten years. “It only makes sense for the IPA and Sushoo to work together,” said Dr Geetha Priyanka (Sushoo Medical Director and BPN PCP).

“We feel that BPN and Sushoo can help Brevard County keep pace the leading cities and states in the Healthcare arena,” said Naveen Venkatachalam (President and developer of Sushoo).
