In today's environment where the delivery of integrated care is a mandate from the government, and the reimbursement for care is progressively based on outcomes as opposed to service performed, a community HIE assumes a central role.  There are a couple of key arguments for Sushoo as an ideal community portal.

• Sushoo is an end to end solution that enables standards based connectivity to EMRs, with any standards compliant EMR being able to send or receive information from the Exchange.  And because Sushoo is re-brandable to serve as any organizations portal, an IPA or county medical society, or hospital may serve equally well as the community portal separately or concurrently, using Sushoo technology and Exchange platform.
• Sushoo's patient facing capabilities allow for patient communications and keeps the patient involved in the care process.
